Nor-Gwyn Swim Coach Jacquelyn Borkowski wins 3 NCAA Division II championship events at Canton, Ohio during March championship swim meet. Named “Swimmer of the Meet”
North Wales, PA March 22, 2010: Jacquelyn Borkowski long time employee of Nor-Gwyn Pool and new swim team coach won three National Championship events at the NCAA Division II competition in Canton, Ohio. Winning the 50,100 and 200 free style races capping her senior year at West Chester University. Ms. Borkowski recently was named head swim team coach at Nor-Gwyn Pool. She will be graduating in May with a degree in education and is looking forward to helping hone the swimming skills of the members of the Nor-Gwyn Aquatic Club as well as helping manage the pool for the 2010 season. We are understandably proud of Jacquelyn.
Ms. Borkowski will be leading a talented group of assistant coaches including North Penn star swimmer and Mr. Pennsylvania Water Polo Jack Else Jr. and returning coaches Leo Draham, Antoinette High and Sean High. Rounding out Nor-Gwyn’s teaching crew is Southeast Pennsylvania diving legend Kyle Goldbacher leading several local teams to championships.
Nor-Gwyn Community Pool serves North Wales Borough and Upper-Gwynedd Township as well as many surrounding communities and membership is available to all. Information is available at www.norgwynpool.com
